PIGEONHOLE COFFEE

When it runs out of ideas for visiting another new coffee shops in south Jakarta area, 'Pigeon Hole' in Bintaro area could be one of an alternative. As we know that Bintaro has another famous coffee shop like 'Kopi Manyar' and 'Filosofi Kopi'.  PS...If you rarely go to Bintaro area, you should to use GOOGLE MAP application to find out this place.;)

Here's another hype coffee shop in town since end of December 2015.  It's an inviting coffee shop with bright yellow door and an eye-catching mural on the outdoor wall.

Hot Cafe Latte IDR 30.000,-

I ordered Hot Cafe Latte and it tasted pretty okay and still enjoyable. They also have some non coffee drinks for those who doesn't drink coffee and babycinno (steamed milk topped with marshmallow) for kids.

Chocolate Croissant IDR 25.000,-

Nothing special about this croissant but however it's pretty good to accompany your coffee intake.

THE CAFFEINE DISPENSARY

 After my fifth visit here, finally had time to write a short review about "The Caffeine Dispensary." A coffee culture is booming lately at Kelapa Gading area and this place became one of my primary alternative to sip a good coffee. It's quite easy to find if you are Kelapa Gading citizen because it's located next to "Bakmi Kofei." 

This place has been opened since September 2015.  "The Caffeine Dispensary" is not just a coffee shop but concentrate to roast their own coffee beans also. I love this place. it's simple and not so big but very comfortable with a lil touch of industrial concept, used mostly the white color and some small coffee tables with two seats only, so you can enjoy your "ME TIME" at here.:)

This cup of Hot Cafe Latte was NICE brewed, loving the balance of the coffee and the steamed milk creating a lovely overall flavor of Brazilian coffee beans. Just FYI...The coffee bar equipped with three groups Strada from La Marzocco.:)

Smoked Beef and Cheese IDR 55.000,-

They have three options of croissant: plain with butter and jam ,  smoked beef & cheese and smoked chicken & cheese. But we prefer to ordered a Croissant Smoked Beef and Cheese at the time. Croissant was fluffy and not mushy, it tasted good as well in every bite.:)

Red Velvet Cupcake

Nothing really special about this one, maybe i'm not a big FAN also of cup cake.:p 

 FYI...usually they open for public for Coffee Cupping Session, so please be attention on their Instagram about this invitation, guys.:) Overall it's always good to be back here. Thanks Rio and Andri for your pleasant service as usually and of course your good coffee!

KANAWA COFFEE & MUNCH

Finally, i've found a good coffee in Senopati area. As we know that, almost once a month, there's always a new spot to visit in Senopati but still hard to find a good coffee. This place's already opened since August 29th 2015 and still in soft opening period when i came at the first time. This place is the right next to "Crematology". Yes, both of them are the coffee shop but "Crematology" is not my type of coffee, so...since i've tried "Kanawa Coffee", hmm..shortly to say that their coffee has stolen my heart.:) 

Talking about this place. Actually, it's quite big with first floor for non smoking area and the second floor for smoking area. But, the  atmosphere and the minimalist design is not my favourite because it feels empty in this room. But besides that, ""Kanawa" has a really good lighting, guys to capture some great photos!: ) Thank to use a glass door and many windows around this area.

Iced Caramel Latte IDR 42.000,- 

Both of Hot Latte and Iced Caramel Latte were good! The amount of coffee and milk given was just perfect, I didn't find it too light nor too strong and the caramel flavour really put the effort in balancing everything, at the end, it was GOOD. :)

Matcha Cake IDR 35.000,-

Actually, i'm not a fan of Matcha, but let me try this one and it's good enough for me with a soft texture and not too strong matcha flavour. It's a good choice!:)   

Crepes Apple Crumble IDR 36.000,-

I preferably choose this crepes than matcha cake. It feels SO GOOD as it looks. This one is highly recommended to order. I love the texture, sweet crumble and mix with sour flavour from the apple. All the variety flavour's perfect when added with one scoop of vanilla ice cream. OMG....droolingggg... :(

They're not only serve coffee & cakes, but also provide some breakfast and lunch menu along with several options of cakes. Surely comeback again and  next time maybe I should try their "Seared Beef" for brunch menu.:)

RED BLANC COFFEE & BAKERY

'Red Blanc' is the latest join at MOI area, Kelapa Gading as a new comer coffee shop. As we know that previously existed are 'Coffee Tree', 'TOF Sicacilla' and 'I Hate Monday'. I've visited here since 1.5 months ago. Actually it's quite easy to find out because still in the same row with 'Coffee Tree'.

Just a short review because I just tried the coffee at the time, they didn't provide other snacks or desserts also because still a new comer, hmmm...maybe it's just opened around 1 week ago.hehehe. As a coffee geek, their coffee is not my favourite type of coffee beans. One of their barista told me that they have a typically burned coffee beans and mixed with syrup flavour. So, maybe that's why I felt my coffee's burned and bitter. 

Coffee is generally either medium roasted, dark roasted, or burned. When coffee beans are medium roasted, the full range of their abundant and satisfying flavors is brought out.  When coffee beans are dark roasted, they lose much of their subtle flavor but attain a deep richness that some enjoy, for example, in espresso.  When coffee beans are burned, it remains is bitter.

Besides their taste of coffee, I LOVE how they decor this coffee shop. It's quite big spacious with two floors and available a small private room for meeting with transparent door. I just can't get enough to captured all the corners at the time and THANKS sunshine for your beautiful lighting on our table.:D

Overall i love this place besides the burned coffee beans. Maybe should try the Korean Bakery or another beverages on my next visit.:)
