KOPIUM ARTISAN COFFEE

This is another homey coffee shop in Kelapa Gading area. 'Kopium Artisan Coffee' is located in a residential complex, so it's not too easy to find if you're not staying in Kelapa Gading, but you'll find it by using WAZE. :D It's always good when i knew that there's another coffee shop beside of 'TOF Sicacilla' and 'Coffee Tree' in Kelapa Gading.

'KOPIUM' is located in a regular house with big enough capacity, it's separated with outdoor and indoor area with private room also. Actually, the interior design's quite interesting except the poor lighting because i always love a place with many windows...:D So, it's rather difficult to get a good result photo at indoor area. -_-!

Look at on the black board, guys! We could find out more about what's the difference between Arabica and Robusta coffee beans. It's such a good idea because the customers who come could get more knowledge about coffee beans besides enjoy a cup of good coffee by 'KOPIUM'. :)

Another good option for breakfast or lunch time! Delish Bakmi Ayam Rica, but it would be more enjoyable if there's extra mushrooms and slightly salty. :D

OH YES! It's such a pretty latte art and GOOD latte as its looked.:D Surprisingly, they served a good coffee with affordable price. WORTH TO TRY, guys! FYI...they don't use 'Tanamera' coffee beans because as we know that nowadays most of new eatery & cafe in Jakarta using 'Tanamera'.

Ovomaltine IDR 35.000,-

This Ovomaltine is highly recommended to try on this hot & sunny day, it's very refreshing!hahaha..

  

Iced Teh Tarik IDR 15.000,-

Now, i'm a coffee addict but still LOVE 'Teh Tarik' also!:D I like the balance between milk and tea flavor. Another good choice if you prefer for non-coffee beverages.

Overall, it's worth to visit if you're looking for good coffee which's set up with martabak or its best seller 'Bakmi Ayam Rica'. THANK to 'KOPIUM' for serving a good coffee with reasonable price.:) Surely comeback to try the 'Martabak'!

#DOTD - DOSE OF THE DAY

Actually, '#DOTD' is not a new comer coffee shop in town but I just had time to visit this place which's been open since 2014. It's located in a strategic place that's right nearby 'LSPR' (London School of Public Relation). So, at the moment, most of the visitors are college students.  

YES! I love the interior and ambience. Just a small coffee shop but it's designed with a bright yellow colour and mixed with black & brown, what a nice combination!:) And....increasingly like it too because '#DOTD' has a GOOD lighting with many windows on the right side.

Oreo Cheese Cake IDR 38.000,-

Wow! A lil surprised with its portion of this Oreo Cheese Cake. It's good enough, just a huge portion but not too sweet and different texture like another cheese cake in commonly. The white layer feels like an ice cream cake. But I just can say this one's affordable with huge portion to share. :)

Hot Cappuccino IDR 25.000,-

Affordable price for its coffee but i need a stronger aroma and flavourful coffee.

Overall, '#DOTD' is a cozy place for having a dessert & coffee, chatting with your good friends, or just maybe enjoy 'me time' at this bright coffee shop.:)

Ooopss..almost forgot to post about 'Belly Inc' :p Actually, i've visited here since one month ago. As always, PIK is not my favorite area to hang out, I came to here because I need to met up with my cousin from Makassar at the time. Not too updated with many new comers in PIK area, so I just decided to had my dinner at 'Belly Inc.' As I knew that it's familiar with its famous 'GyuTan'.  Sorry for a poor light of all these photos because it's over than 6 pm.

Gyutan is a Japanese food that is made from grilled beef touge. The word 'Gyutan' is a combination of the Japanese word for cow and the English word tongue, so it means 'cow tongues' . Actually, it's my second Gyutan, the first one i've tried before at Cranky Crab, Kelapa Gading and i've to said that I prefer the Gyutan by Cranky, its more juicy and tender, but i love the spiciness of this Gyutan by 'Belly Inc' .:D

It's pretty DAYUM! Love the tender & juicy of this tongue steak with tasty sauce also. :)

Just an ordinary steak, nothing special with this one, but its sauce's quite good.

SUPER GAYO COFFEE

Coffee in Indonesia began with its colonial history, and has played an important part in the growth of the country. Indonesia is located within an ideal geography for coffee plantations. One of the most famous coffee is from Sumatra Gayo Mountain, Aceh. Aceh coffees are grown in the lovely mountain and all are grown in shade and almost all without chemicals. The Arabica coffee of Aceh Gayo is considered one of the premium coffee beans in the world. It has a fine aroma and a pretty low bitter taste. Aceh Gayo coffee beans grow in a distinctive type of soil in highlands, thus it almost impossible to find it in any other place outside its origin.

Two weeks ago when I passed Jl. Wolter Monginsidi area, I visited this traditional 'Super Gayo Coffee' with its signature Gayo Coffee beans . :) Just a small space with outdoor area and open kitchen concept. The location is easy to find, it's located in front of 'Wolter Bistro'. It's owned by Kin Aulia, one of personnel of The Fly Band. It's been opened since 3 months ago. At the time, I was interested to try their 'Kopi Tarik' & 'Teh Tarik', yes...before becoming now as a coffee addict, actually i was a BIG FAN of 'Teh Tarik' at any Kopitiam in Jakarta. :D

The best part is I could see directly their attraction when they made this 'Kopi Tarik' and 'Teh Tarik'. :) 'Teh Tarik' is a hot milk tea beverage which can be commonly found in restaurants, outdoor stalls. Its name is derived from the pouring process of ‘pulling’ the drink during preparation. It is made from black tea, condensed milk or evaporated milk. 'Kopi Tarik'' is equivalent of 'Teh Tarik'.

YES! The best pair ever when enjoy a glass of 'Teh Tarik' is accompanied by 'Fried Bananas'. It's big enough portion for two persons. :)

Overall, it's a good alternative if you guys want to try traditional Gayo Coffee or just try 'Teh Tarik' with its unique attraction. ;)
